Barry Pocock is a former Gloucestershire County
footballer and is a member of the F.A. Coaches Association and GFA Coaches Association. His
playing and coaching experience has included Gloucester City, Cheltenham Town, Fairford Town
and Cirencester Town, as well as other teams at Hellenic Premier and Western League level.
Barry has been the top goal scorer in the Hellenic League on two occasions.
Barry's coaching expertise includes children's, youths' and women's as well as men's football
teams. Barry is currently coaching at Bristol Academy Women's Football Club (Bristol Rovers)
and Centre of Excellence.
Barry has been a college lecturer and is a Construction Professional, being a Fellow of the
Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB).
Barry's Football career has run in parallel with his career in Construction.
Barry is a successful and respected Professional Football Coach qualified to UEFA B (Level 3)
through Somerset FA. He is also qualified as a goalkeeping Coach having completed the FA
Goalkeeping Coaching Certificate (Level 2). |
