Barry Pocock is a former Gloucestershire County footballer, a member of the F.A. Coaches Association, Gloucestershire FA Coaches Association and Wiltshire County FA Coaches Association. His playing and coaching experience has included Gloucester City, Cheltenham Town, Fairford Town, Cirencester Town and Chippenham Town.

Barry has been the top goal scorer in the Hellenic League on two occasions.

Barry's coaching expertise includes children's, youths' and women's, as well as men's football teams.

After two successful seasons coaching at Bristol Academy Women's Football Club (Formerly Bristol Rovers) and Centre of Excellence, Barry is now currently Centre Director at Wiltshire County FA Centre of Excellence for Girls. In addition, he is also a coach at Swindon Town FC, at the Boys Centre of Excellence, coaching alongside Swindon Town Legend John Trollope MBE.

Barry's educational background and learning includes time spent as a college lecturer and as a construction manager having achieved the highest Professional qualification within the Construction Industry, being a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB).

Barry is a successful and respected Professional Football Coach qualified to UEFA B (Level 3) through Somerset FA, is also qualified as a goalkeeping Coach having completed the FA Goalkeeping Coaching Certificate (Level 2) and has recently attended UEFA A Prep course, a pre-requisite to achieving an Advanced Coaching Licence.

Barry is also a qualified Sports Massage Therapist.
